The committee that brought you the multi-award winning Tehachapi GranFondo proudly presents the 2nd annual Tehachapi Mountain Bike (MTB) BrewFondo, a 21 and over event, in conjunction with the Tehachapi Mountain Beer and Wine Festival being held at Benz Visco Sports Park.

There are three ride distances offered with similar routes. The ride is expected to last 2-3 hours. All of the routes lead away from Benz Visco Park to the nearby Tehachapi Mountain Trails Association (TMTA)/Lehigh Trail system on the north side of Hwy 58 – the very same trails that host the SoCal National Interscholastic Cycling Association Mountain Bike Championships (NICA). These trails are primarily pristine single track with some breathtaking views of Tehachapi Valley.
The ride will begin at 11 AM to allow riders to complete the circuit prior to the onset of the Tehachapi Beer and Wine Festival from 4-8pm. Each entry will receive a custom designed T-shirt, swag bag chock full of goodies, and a super cool finisher’s medal! ***NOTE***(first come first serve while supplies last).

The BrewFest package deal includes the ride and general admission to the Tehachapi Mountain Beer and Wine Festival where you can imbibe on unlimited beer and wine tasting from 4-8pm (Over 120 samples!), enjoy some great food (one meal ticket for 6 fantastic choices), and listen to some great live music.

Advanced “Growler” Route & BrewFest Event – $100.00 (~30 miles, 3,500 ft. of elevation)
Intermediate “Pint” Route & BrewFest Event – $95.00 (~17 miles, 1,500 ft. of elevation)
Beginner “Tester” Route & BrewFest Event – $90.00(~13 miles, 900 ft. of elevation)

Cross Country

Cost: $100, $95, and $90 with the BrewFest or Ride only for $60, $55, $50
License: None needed. USAC Daily use fee included in price
Course Description: Gravel grinder style until you get up into the TMTA/Lehigh Trails, then it’s cross country/intermediate. The “Growler” route will test your endurance as you circumvent Tehachapi and make your way back to the trailhead. The Pint and Taster routes are much shorter but are extremely fun and provide excellent views especially from the upper loops of the trails. Come on out and enjoy a fantastic day with us!

NOTE This is a MOUNTAIN BIKE ride. Helmets are REQUIRED. Gloves and eye protection are highly recommended. The trails are primarily intermediate level. Even the “Taster” route has some decent elevation change and rocky/technical sections. Please choose your route accordingly. The “Growler” and “Pint” routes include some of the MOST TECHNICAL sections of trails we have to offer. If you see a section that you don’t feel comfortable riding, please WALK over the obstacle/section and continue. We want people to have a great time and enjoy the scenery, but not get injured. Also, It’s a RIDE NOT A RACE. You will encounter other traffic on the trails. Please be considerate and pass with care. There will be 3 SAG stops on course but please be prepared. Bring spare tubes, water, snacks, etc.
