Friday night: trail run, Saturday: XC mountain biking, and Super D (new dual points event)!! and of course the Brundage Bomber downhill on Sunday. One of the most beautiful setting in the Wild Rockies series. You’ll appreciate the gorgeous surroundings and great time to be had at Brundage Mountain Resort. FREE on-site camping when you bring a sleeping bag, tent or rv.

Super D

Course Description: A NEW event for the Wild Rockies Series! This event highlights the rider with great bike handling skills. Come experience what “old school” downhill was like before the advent of suspension technologies. The course favors a fit rider, as well as one who knows how to ride a bike. We are awarding points in your respective catagories for XC and downhill. Don’t miss an opportunity to score valuable series points. There will be one Beginner, Sport, Expert, Pro catagory winner for male and female. Otherwise, there is points for the top ten in each class.

Downhill

Course Description: Brundage Bomber Downhill race screams through the Hidden Valley ski run on Brundage Mountain Resort with a tough rock garden section. Further down the course you’ll find high speed sections and several drops. The spectacular 2.5 mile Hidden Valley course loses 1,500 vertical feet but shuttle rides are easy thanks to the Brundage high-speed quad lift.

Cross Country

Course Description: Saturday’s race is a 10.5-mile loop. The current course is legendary for both its climbs and its descents. The last 4.5 miles of the loop is all downhill on the spectacular Elk Trail.

If you take a look at the start times, we are following the tradition of Idaho City and The Banzai by starting “Le Mans”. That means mass start all catagories, running uphill to your bike. We are working on some alternative sections of single-track to add to the exciting format we have planned this year.
