The Bear Creek Challenge is back for it’s 3rd year. Once again the BCC has been designated as the Pennsylvania Cross Country State Championships by USA Cycling. We will also once again host the Mid Atlantic Regional Series (MARC) finals. Anyone racing for the PA States must be a Pennsylvania resident and must have a USAC annual liscense. All other riders can purchase a USAC day permit. For more information on USA Cycling, go to www.usacycling.orgThis race is also a qualifier for the 2013 USA Cycling National Championships which will be held at none other than Bear Creek!
The Challenge has been named such for good reason. Our trails are, well, Challenging! Lots of single track, rocks, switch backs and a white knuckler downhill! Our trails are always open so feel free to ride them anytime. The course will be marked and open for pre-riding after the Super D on 8/13.
Bear Creek is a resort with a hotel and 2 restaurants. Riders will be offered a discounted hotel rate. Just be sure and mention that you are racing to receive the discount.
Day of Registration is available but will be $10 more!
2013&14 MTB National Championships Coming to the Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship (MARC) Series Finals Venue!
YES! The National Champs will be held at Bear Creek Resort, just south of Allentown, PA, so come on out to the MARC series races and prepare/qualify for next year! Plus maybe get a good finish in the 2012 official Mid-Atlantic Championships.
The USA Cycling sanctioned Mid Atlantic Regional Championship (MARC) series, will award medals/titles to all 49 of the USA Cycling classes used for the Greenbrier race.
