Course Description: The 70km race, a former SA MTB Championship Route, is not without some interesting twists and turns on single track sections through the Platberg and some of the nearby farms and is said not to be for the fainthearted. The shorter 45 km race takes place in the foothills of the Platberg, with equally challenging single track sections. The more docile 25 km race up to Akkerbos back through the forest with some awsome single tracks back the Botanical Gardens is perfect for the less experienced rider and 12 km race towards the Botanical Gardens and back Platberg Stadium is targeted at youngsters wanting to get a taste of mountain biking.
